Doris Gralitzer has twenty-two years experience as a head designer and conceptual artist in the floral design industry. Her store, Creative Florist, is located in Island Park, Long Island, and offers ideas for gift baskets and theme parties, as well as an abundant assortment of exotic and popular flowers.
Doris’s approach to her business is distinguished by her personal touch and her joyful passion for what she does: “I create your vision in flowers, be it creating memorabilia of a lifetime out of flowers for a departed loved one, or the fantasy wedding of a bride’s dreams. I truly believe flowers bring beauty, hope, and peace to the world, uplifting all occasions and every environment.”
Doris received her certification for floral design and horticulture from Boses in 1986, and continues to teach seminars and workshops in flowers design and party decoration on Long Island. An active member of the Long Beach BNI Chapter, Beach Side Power Professionals, Doris also serves as a board member of the Island Park Chamber of Commerce from which she received the award “Outstanding Business Person of the Year”, and she is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Island Park.
Doris’s other interests include boating and hiking. She lives in East Rockaway with her husband, Ronnie and her two children, David and Melissa.
